Vacation

As the weather keeps getting colder and colder and the school work gets harder and harder to do. I am counting down the days till I go on vacation! I am going on a cruise and to Florida and I can not wait. It will be super nice to get away and spend time with my family. I hate winter and the cold so that us what is getting me through the cold days. Also I need a longer weekend and break because I am dying with school work. I am counting down the days till Thanksgiving and Christmas break. Less than a month till Thanksgiving break! Until then I am just going to back it day by day.

Visiting friends

Next weekend I am going to state to visit my friend and go to the Michigan vs Michigan State game. I am so excited! I love going to different colleges and seeing my friends. Its great seeing my friends from home that I haven't seen in awhile. Also it's a lot of fun having my friends visit me. I like showing them the new parts in my life. Even though we are apart most of the time when we hang out again it is like we never were apart! It is so weird going on snapchats and seeing their stories and not knowing the people in them. It is fun hearing their stories about what they do at college.

Update

I thought this week I would just let everyone know how I am doing in college. I have started working so I'm trying to find a balance of when to do my homework with working. But I am working at the Parkview Cafe on campus and its been great. I'm making money and it honestly just gives me something to do. I am feeling way less home sick. I still have my moments and miss my family a lot but it is so much better than before.

Studying

   I had my first big college exam today and honestly I am not to sure if I did good or not. From the last couple days I have learned, I do not know how to study. I also put it off to the last minute, which I said I wasn't going to do. I tried to read over the notes and do the practice test questions from the book but I kept getting distracted. Going to the library and studying in a quiet place also did not really work. I found I got the most work done when I studied with my roommate. We are in the same class. If anyone has any tips, it would be nice if you could comment some so I can try them for my next exam!
